Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team in providing specialized assessments and interventions for children and young people receiving community-based and inpatient care from our child and adolescent mental health services.

The successful candidate will work as part of a small team, providing clinical guidance to staff regarding children with neuro-developmental difficulties, particularly those with sensory processing difficulties impacting occupational needs.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of an effective and evidence-based Occupational Therapy service in CAMHS, working closely with the wider neuro-developmental team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide highly specialized Occupational Therapy assessments and interventions for children and young people
  • Work collaboratively with the wider neuro-developmental team to provide Occupational Therapy input to diagnostic assessments and attend team meetings
  • Support the delivery and development of an effective and evidence-based Occupational Therapy service in CAMHS

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience within the clinical area
  • Ability to support the delivery and development of an effective and evidence-based Occupational Therapy service in CAMHS
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

What We Offer:
