**About Beatson's Building Supplies Ltd**

Beatson's Building Supplies is one of Scotland's largest independent Builders Merchants. We trade as Beatson's Building Supplies but have three other trading divisions of Beatson's Direct our ecommerce business, Beatson's Concrete our ready-mix concrete business and Skyline Roofing Supplies our specialist roofing merchant business. We employ around 140 people across our 6 sites in Alloa, Cumbernauld, Dunfermline, Penicuik, Errol & Stirling.

**Your key responsibilities include**:

- You will be comfortable dealing with customers in a busy retail environment and will have excellent communication skills ensuring a professional service at all times:

- Engage with and increase our customer base;
- You will have the ability to multi skill between the counter service and sales office
- You will be enthusiastic with the customers and enjoy working with them to ensure they have the best customer experience;
- You enjoy working as a team to deliver results;
**You will need to be**:

- Ideally have knowledge of building supply products
- Proactive approach in increasing our customer base
- You will have the ability to use your own initiative and will provide ideas on driving the business forward.
- An excellent team player who can also work on your own initiative
- A cool-headed multi-tasker
- An excellent communicator, oral and written
- Approachable, positive and polite
- Motivated, energetic and passionate about your work
- Full Clean UK Driving licence
- Minimum 1 years’ Builders Merchant experience is desirable

**Salary**: depending on experience

Hours of Work: Monday to Friday 7:30-17:00 and every second Saturday 7:30-12:00

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
