Salary offered: £30k + benefits + coaching

Take Ownership of Accounting Responsibilities:

  • Own the process: Master payments, invoices, income, and receipts, ensuring flawless data entry into our systems.
  • Lead quarterly VAT returns: Complete them with precision and confidence.
  • Manage sales and invoice ledgers: Keep our records organized and up-to-date.
  • Ensure accuracy: Reconcile bank accounts with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Be the gatekeeper: Vigilantly audit business accounts and swiftly alert the Director of Finance to any discrepancies.
  • Craft financial insights: Prepare monthly financial statements, including cash flow, profit and loss, and balance sheets.
  • Showcase financial health: Generate quarterly management accounts to reflect business income and expenditure.
  • Oversee payroll: Manage payroll processes and employee expense claims with unwavering accuracy.
  • Support excellence: Assist the Director of Finance and external advisors with administrative duties, including preparing yearly accounts.

Take Ownership of Office Management Responsibilities:

  • Be the go-to support: Assist the Hospitality team in answering inquiries and sourcing provisions.
  • Streamline communication: Manage and distribute all incoming post and general inquiries from the website, social media, public email, and telephone.
  • Organize efficiently: Oversee hard and electronic filing using SharePoint.
  • Ensure safety compliance: Oversee H&S systems management (Safety Culture) to keep the business compliant with all H&S legislation.
  • Maintain property compliance: Work with external property compliance companies, liaise with tenants, and conduct annual inspections.
  • Oversee vehicle compliance: Manage vehicle taxation, insurance, and servicing.
  • Manage utilities: Ensure compliance with RHI grants, manage meter readings, monitor energy use, and collaborate with energy brokers on contract renewals.
  • Ensure insurance compliance: Maintain business insurance requirements and update insurers on policy changes.
