Do you have previous experience working with SEN children or want to start a career in supporting young people?

A school near Rawtenstall is looking for student support assistants who are interested in long term, full time positions. The positions will be long term and will be working alongside teachers and other staff to give the students specific support to suittheir learning needs. You will work towards creating a space in which students feel comfortable and have the help that they need to work to the best of their ability. You will also help students to engage and to join in with activities inside and outside ofthe classroom. You will be working with students in KS5 who are working towards their A-Levels.

You should:

- Have some experience working with SEN young people, specifically those with ASD or autistic traits
- Have experience within a school in a support role
- Be a calm and kind person dedicated to providing children with a positive learning experience
- Have an enhanced child only DBS on the update service

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
