Company Overview:

We are a mixed primary and secondary SEN school based in the beautiful town of Rawtenstall, providing 1:1 and general support for pupils aged 4-16 with SEN additional needs.

Our mission is to provide individualised support and tailor our curriculum for learning around the specific needs of each pupil.

Salary:

The salary for this role is £12.33 per hour, which is competitive in the industry.

Job Description:

As an SEN Support Worker, you will assist students with special educational needs by providing tailored support during lessons, ensuring they understand tasks, and adapting activities to meet their specific learning requirements.

You will help create an inclusive classroom environment by encouraging participation, fostering social skills, and supporting emotional well-being, ensuring that all students feel valued and included.

Additionally, you will assist students with personal care needs, such as feeding, toileting, dressing, and mobility, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and safety while promoting independence where possible.
