**Care Coordinator**

Oncall care agency is looking for a motivated and organized individual to join the team as a care coordinator in Glasgow. This role offers a great professional development opportunity for an individual to make a positive difference in the lives of others.

**Your Job will entail**:

- Closely working with service users, families, and other professional bodies
- Liaise as necessary with social workers, district nurses, local councils, and GPs in respect of developing and delivering holistic, person-centered packages of care.
- Coordinating staff rota’s
- General administration duties.
- Field-based shifts (if required)
- Work as part of the on-call rota
- Conduct service user’s reviews and risk assessments
- Spot check and supervision for support works.
- Supporting the support workers and identifying training needs
- Identifying recruitment needs.
- Ensure that staffing levels are adequately maintained in line with client requirements
- Management of PPE levels and distribution

**Person Specification**
- Car drivers and have access to their own vehicle
- Previous experiences in a co-ordinator role, or managerial-based role.
- Experiences in delivering and managing care support services
- Able to prioritize and work under pressure
- Flexible; willing and able to work outside normal hours when requested
- Genuinely passionate about delivering high-quality care.

**Required Qualifications**
- Experience with scheduling and excellent IT skills
- Effective written and verbal communication
- Previous experience in the home care field
- SVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards this.
