To facilitate the administration duties for supply and controls supporting the production of Patient food in the supply to 6 hospitals.

To work as part of the Catering Clerical Team with responsibility for food ordering, costing, re-charging or invoicing, maintaining statistical records, both manually and by information technology.

Analysis of food requirements to be ordered from information supplied to the Catering office to ensure the correct stock levels are maintained.

Order all food requirements in line with the Trusts Financial instructions and NHS procurement guidance.

Ensuring all the IT ordering systems/paperwork is in place for all orders.

To correlate all delivery notes and invoices for signature, before sending to Finance department.

Produce weekly, Catering Commitment data regarding Patient meals supplied external and internal for Manager and Finance Department.

To provide provisions costs and maintenance of the recipe costs through the preferred operating system (Menumark)

To meet with suppliers as required, to support the Manager, discussing any supply or delivery problems.

To receive and record all product and price changes and ensure all associated costs are entered onto the system

Ad-hoc statistical information for Catering manager and procurement as required.

To produce a Monthly spreadsheet detailing all provided Patient food operational costs (Food and non-food) for Finance dept and to raise external invoices as required.

To deal with any financial queries regarding commitments, invoices, Patient food requests etc.

To attend mandatory training and any other training deemed necessary for the post holder to carry out their duties.

To wear an ID badge as issued in the interest of security in accordance with the Trust policy.

To comply with statutory and Health and Safety Regulations and Governance.
