Student Recruitment Officer

We have an exciting opportunity for a driven, enthusiastic, proactive and customer focused professional to join Imperial College Business School as a Student Recruitment Officer for our Master’s programmes. The Student Recruitment team plays a critically important role in achieving this vision by attracting and converting diverse and outstanding students from across the globe onto our MBA, MSc and Undergraduate programmes.
We operate in a dynamic, fast-moving environment, so you’ll be able to demonstrate an excellent track record in implementing recruitment plans to deliver results, with experience of recruitment and outreach, conversion management and the ability to work effectively in close collaboration with Marketing and Admissions teams.
**Duties and responsibilities**:
You will:
- support the Student Recruitment Manager to develop and implement strategies to ensure effective student recruitment from the School’s target markets
- deliver a range of recruitment activity and be the first point of contact, dealing with enquiry management to provide a high level of customer service to prospective and admitted students
- be results driven, with outstanding customer services skills combined with the enthusiasm and creativity to innovate new ways of reaching our audiences
- work in close collaboration with other Business School teams, particularly Programmes Marketing and Admissions
**Essential requirements**:
In order to be successful for this role you will ideally have:
- experience in higher education, in a customer-facing role
- proven events management skills, enabling you to plan, promote and execute successful events in line with the recruitment plan, including information sessions, fairs, masterclasses, and webinars
- strong written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to present to a range of audiences
- strong administrative and organisation skills and great attention to detail.
- the ability to build deep programme knowledge, and tailor that information to different audiences and differentiate the Imperial proposition
- experience of using CRM systems to build effective relationships with target audiences

Appointments are normally made at the bottom point of the salary scale.
