We have an exciting opportunity for someone who likes to influence high profile projects, successfully deliver and be involved across the full life cycle of design, manufacture and test to join the Airbus Wind Tunnel as a Wind Tunnel Test Lead in Filton.

The wind tunnel team have the privilege of leading Airbus’ wind tunnel testing, running multiple projects in our own wind tunnels and facilities in Filton, Bremen, Toulouse and at external wind tunnels around the world. You will be based in our Filton wind tunnel which has a unique legacy of testing every aircraft developed on site from Concorde through to the latest A350 XWB.

**HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE TEAM**
- Kick off and lead the process with our customers to initiate wind tunnel tests both in Filton and around the world
- Gather and synthesise internal and external customer test requirements
- Produce thorough wind tunnel model specifications and test programme documents with colleagues from wind tunnel model design
- Support the costing of wind tunnel test programmes
- Create and monitor the project plan
- Provide leadership and coordinate the multi-functional team tasked with delivering the project plan working alongside experts, project managers and the team leaders
- Produce the final test report and validate test data from the beginning to the end of the process.
- Lead end of test reviews and ensure lessons learnt are captured.

**ABOUT YOU**
- Degree in Aeronautical Engineering or previous experience in an Aerodynamic related field
- Knowledge of wind tunnel measurement techniques
- Data analysis and interrogation with a good attention to detail
