**This post is part-time, working 24.5 hours per week and is fixed term until October 2024. The salary stated is the pro-rata amount, the full-time amount is between £45,791 to £50,855 per annum (Incl. LWA).**
We are currently seeking to expand our sustainable mobility research team by appointing a fixed-term Research Fellow, following the successful bid of the ENUAC project (EXperimenting with city streets to TRAnsform urban mobility - EX-TRA). We are based at the Marylebone campus in central London within the School of Architecture and Cities.
EX-TRA is an exciting international, transdisciplinary research project in collaboration with the Technical University of Munich, the Polytechnic of Milan, Ghent University, the University of Amsterdam, and the cities of London, Amsterdam, Munich, Turin, and Bologna. At the core of EX-TRA's approach are transition experiments in city streets - deliberate, temporary changes in street use, regulations, and/or design with the aim of exploring systemic shifts towards a 'post-car' city.
As the Research Fellow, you will be actively involved in this innovative project, collaborating with a dynamic, transdisciplinary research team led by Dr. Enrica Papa, Reader in Transport Planning. The role encompasses both individual and collaborative research, co-authoring publications, and engaging in activities to promote the impact and expansion of the team's research portfolio, all while maintaining a high standard of written and spoken English.
Having a working knowledge of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) will be highly appreciated for this position.
