The Population Health Research Institute (PHRI) are seeking to appoint a Research Fellow in Social Epidemiology (1 July 2023 - 31 March 2026).

The post holder will primarily work as a researcher on a Nuffield Foundation funded project on inequalities in the long-term health, education, employment and social participation outcomes of young carers. The project is led by Dr Rebecca Lacey and involves collaborations with UCL (Prof Anne McMunn) and Carers Trust.

Key attributes of the successful applicant include:

- PhD in epidemiology, quantitative social science discipline, psychology, public health or a closely related discipline (or close to completion)
- confident in collaborating with a range of project stakeholders, including academic collaborators, non-academic project partners
- proficient in the use of statistical software.

Funding is available for full-time equivalent posts, but this may be configured as a combination of part-time appointments.
