OSB Group are offering a rare opportunity to join our Savings department as a Product Apprentice. This position will give you fantastic insight and experience into product management and proposition.

You will gain a thorough understanding of variety of product management tasks, including pricing activities, product enhancements and MI production across all The Group’s brands. Working within a supportive team, you will get ‘hands on’ experience whilst achieving qualifications to support your career goals.

What you will be doing:
On a typical day, you will be completing a variety of tasks to support the team. This includes:

- Working collaboratively with the Savings Propositions Manager and wider Product and Proposition team to produce and maintain analysis covering competitors, savings markets, and product performance
- Assisting with the development, pricing, and management of the portfolio of products offered by OSB Group through its Savings brands
- Helping to develop new products and propositions, including improvements to current products and propositions that will appeal to our target customers - taking them from concept through to launch
- Supporting the team in identifying and developing new product ideas for our target customer audience to support in bringing them to market
- Drafting of marketing instructions for review by the Savings Product Team before submission to the Communications Team and Marketing Team.

- 5% annual performance related discretionary bonus
- A Monday - Friday, 9-5 job (no weekend working)

What we need from you:

- An inquisitive mind
- Good communication skills and a willingness to learn the department from the ground up
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Power Point & Excel.
- Determination to learn and develop new skills, with the long term aim to progress.
- Minimum GSCE’s (Grade 4/ C or above) in Mathematics and English and ideally working towards higher education in Year 13
- Right to work in the UK
