Test and Assembly Engineer

Role Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Test and Assembly Engineer to join our team at Omega.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in assembling complex hydraulic products, finding and testing faults, reading engineering drawings, and completing quality audits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble complex hydraulic products.
- Find and test faults of complex hydraulic products.
- Read engineering drawings.
- Complete quality audits.
- Build new/repair complex hydraulic products.
- Use measuring equipment such as Micrometers, Vernier Calipers and Height Gauges to inspect component parts.
Requirements:
- Apprentice trained (or equivalent level of qualification) ideally within Mechanical Engineering.
- Proven experience within a complex engineering/manufacturing environment.
- Competent at reading and following different set procedures.
- Competency with a range of assembly tools.
- Hydraulic Testing Experience.
