Accounts Assistant

Jenson Fisher have been engaged by a highly reputable organisation based in North Lanarkshire, to recruit an Accounts Assistant on a full-time permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity to join a friendly team in a busy and varied role. This is an office based role in a great team environment.
The main duties:
- Sales ledger duties
- Processing sales invoices
- Purchase ledger duties
- Input of purchase invoices which will be matched to GRN and processed
- Some invoices will have timesheets which need checked and matched
- Deal with queries
- Reconciliation of Supplier Statements
- Process payroll
- Check all New starts and Leavers
- Process SSP/SMP
- Calculate and check payroll - payslips checked for errors
The main requirements:
- Previous payroll experience is essential
- Strong Excel skills
- Be able to work in a fast paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Team Player
