We have an excellent opportunity for a Part Time Property Administrator / General Manager to join an expanding and market leading Property Investment Firm in Cardiff, developing strong relationships with Estate Agents and Building Contractors to ensure the delivery of the best and most efficient service possible.

**About the role
**As a Part Time Property Administrator / General Manager you will be assisting to:

- Deal with Estate agents to help find new tenants
- Arrange for contractors to carry out maintenance works
- Deal with license to occupy, leases and negotiating leasing terms
- Make sure properties are well maintained
- Deal with dilapidations
- Deal with any issues involving contractors, civil litigation etc
- Work with the Building Project manager / Architect to ensure that the contractor is adhering to the building contract
- Assist Accountants in relation to Auditing, VAT bookkeeping and accounts payable
- Provide administrational support to the MD or his nominee along with any absence cover for the other admin colleague
- Deal with insurance companies / brokers for property insurances etc

**About you
**As a Part Time Property Administrator / General Manager you must have / be:

- Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel. Also, Sage accounts software (desirable)
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- A dynamic and structured approach to problem solving and decision making
- Self-motivation and flexible in work approach
- A strong desire to continue to learn and develop your skills
- Well organised and able to communicate at all levels
- Able to carry out instructions and requests within deadlines from MD
- Full UK driving license
- University degree (desirable)
- General legal experience especially within the Property Sector (desirable)
- After the probation period, you will be expected to manage and control all the business affairs independently
- An ability to buy, develop and sell the property

**About the rewards and hours
**As a Part Time Property Administrator / General Manager you will be working 4 hours a day / 20 hours per week with the possibility to extend these hours into a full time job for the right person. You will receive excellent opportunities for progression and an attractive salary of circa £25,000 to £50,000 per annum (pro-rata part time) depending on experience. Salary / incentive package will be negotiated at the end of the first year and in order to receive an offer towards the upper end of the salary band.
