This role is to support the Acute Pain Lead CNS/Pre-Assessment Managers and the nursing team in the general administrative running of both teams. To include ordering of stock and equipment, preparing and maintaining staff training data base and booking training for staff, carrying out simple audits and checks, and general administrative duties. To help both teams to be able to coordinate and disseminate information as needed.

The post holder is required to communicate and liaise with staff and members of partner organisations, produce work to deadlines whilst ensuring compliance with Health Board policies. This is a key supporting role in the effective running of the teams, which includes the management of resources as part of the core duties. The duties and responsibilities listed below are not intended to be exhaustive, but are set out to indicate the main areas of activity currently expected. The post holder will, therefore, be expected to adopt a flexible approach when the needs of the service require.

The post holder will provide a courteous and professional administrative service complying with procedural guidelines and quality standards at all times.
