Our Corporate Governance Team works with, and in support of, the Chair, Non-Executive Directors, Chief Executive, Executive Team, Council of Governors and Trust members. We make sure that the Trust's corporate affairs are undertaken to the highest standards of probity and aligned to statutory and legislative requirements.

You will be a key part of our team, providing an efficient and effective administrative service to enable the Board and its committees to support the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Your role will involve working alongside Board members, and the Company and Deputy Company Secretaries to ensure that the Board and its Committees are well-planned and effective.

We are looking for someone with strong administrative skills with the ability to produce accurate documents. You will also be to work on your own initiative and keep a cool head under pressure in a busy environment

Our Trust provides specialist NHS mental health and learning disability services in south east England. People receive care, treatment and support from us in hospital, at home and from a range of community services.

The Corporate Governance Team is based near Worthing. Whilst this is an office based role there could be potential to work flexibly at times. Oversight of all aspects of administration for the Board and its committees, including agenda preparation, timely circulation of high quality reports and accurate minute taking.

Support and, when required, deputise for the Deputy Company Secretary in respect of Board preparation and meetings.

Ensure the monthly cycle of board committee meetings is organised to provide maximum assurance to the Board.

Develop Corporate schedules to agree dates for all board and board committee meetings.

Assisting the Deputy Company Secretary and Council and Engagement Manager in developing and maintaining policies, protocols and related systems.
