**Summary of the role**:We are looking for an experienced Financial Modeler to join the EXL Analytics division, who will be required to manage work on client facing projects.

**Role & Responsibilities**:

- Conduct workshops / meetings with stakeholders and basis their feedback work on Redesigning and developing models in Microsoft Excel.
- Working with Finance teams to Validate the models. Ensure the outputs are aligned as per expectations and meet the review feedbacks provided by stakeholders.
- Once developed, work with Python Developers to transform the models from excel to Python.

**Essential Skills**:

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Team player - should be able to contribute independently and work as a part of team when required.
- Advanced Excel based financial model development and reporting skills. Any previous experience working on VBA to automate excel models / reports is a big plus.
- Prior experience of financial modelling, planning, and forecasting experience
- Experience in banking products and finance operations
- Excellent communication and presentation skills along with stakeholder management.
- Should be focused and ensure attention to detail and accuracy.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and financial statement analysis.
