About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Financial Analyst Trainee to join our team at Lowell Financial Ltd. As a Financial Analyst Trainee, you will be responsible for preparing, developing, and analyzing financial reports and statements.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  2. Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  3. Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain financial models to forecast future financial performance.
  4. Internal Controls: Implement and maintain internal financial controls and procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  5. Financial Transactions: Accurately and efficiently book and report financial transactions in our system.
  6. Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to provide financial support and insights.
  7. Best Practices: Identify and implement best practices from internal and external sources to improve financial processes.

Requirements:

  • Accounting Qualification: Hold an accounting qualification (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) with exams and experience complete.
  • Financial Experience: Have experience working in a deadline-driven, multi-disciplined, financial reporting environment in a medium-sized or large organization.
  • Financial Knowledge: Possess strong knowledge of management and financial accounting principles and be well-versed in approaches and techniques, including IFRS.
  • Technical Skills: Have detailed knowledge of the main Microsoft applications.
  • Industry Experience: Have experience working within the financial sector (preferable).
