The role’s key focus is to manage the UK End User Computing and Service Management functions together with Group Tech and local business leadership, and to ensure local support and alignment for Group Tech initiatives and strategy. The role requires a broad technical knowledge of End User Computing and experience in both functions, a clear understanding of how the functions contribute to business strategy both locally and for the group, and strong leadership and communications skills.

**Your tasks**
- Team responsibility, including recruitment, skills development, people management, evaluation and salary setting in agreement with the local Head of Tech country and where applicable with the Group Tech function Lead.
- Responsible for the draft and execution of a clear and ambitious Tech function policy including goals and roadmap, in line with Group Tech strategy and roadmap.
- Stimulate innovation, change and renewal where applicable of and within the Group Tech function, and assist in the management of the Group Tech UK budget.
- Evangelize for agile and Group Tech vision within local Tech function.
- Support and lead country and group initiatives.
- Have a proactive approach towards the business to innovate and keep ahead of the tech curve.
- Assist in vendor or product selection processes, alongside the Group EUC Technical Lead.

- Strong leadership skills and experience leading a multi-disciplinary team.
- Proven experience managing a team under pressure to deliver against demanding targets.
- Excellent communication skills, having the ability to communicate clearly with various stakeholders.
- Proven experience in delivering growth in IT maturity and operational efficiency.

**Your future department**:
Our group tech team works alongside the other Postcode Lotteries and is responsible for lottery processes, service management, cyber security, end user computing, data management, cloud and development.
