Key Responsibilities
  • Lead teams in delivering rich insight for our diverse range of high-profile clients, using human-centred design principles to shape incredible experiences.
  • Work directly with key clients, identifying their needs, conceiving approaches to answer research questions or solve design problems, executing that approach in a rigorous and professional way, and translating user needs into impactful designs and deliverables.
  • Contribute to the success of the company by balancing client work, fostering client relationships, and mentoring junior consultants.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business needs and delivering tailored solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, applying this knowledge to drive innovation and excellence in our work.
Requirements
  • 5+ years experience of UX research in agency, consultancy or in-house teams.
  • Strong understanding of human-centred design principles and their application in real-world contexts.
  • Excellent consultancy skills, providing clear deliverables and confidence in our work.
  • Proven ability to work to tight deadlines, handle multiple projects effectively, and work well with others in a team or individually.
  • Capability to bring UX professionals and clients together into effective multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Proven ability to lead teams and get the most out of individuals.
  • Excellent business acumen, communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to continued personal and professional development.
  • Ability and willingness to work from our Edinburgh office (hybrid) and travel to client offices around the world as required.
