I am currently recruiting for a Permanent Night Support worker in the Kendal Area.

**About the role?**

**I am currently recruiting for a permanent Night support worker in the Kendal Area.**

**This is fantastic opportunity to work in an exciting and supportive company. The role its self is working in a residential school which cares for young people aged 11-19.**

**As a member of the team, you will be responsible for safeguarding the young people and making sure they are healthy, safe and as comfortable as possible. You will assist in their learning by offering companionship and support, whilst ensuring theirphysical, mental and emotional welfare is upheld.**

**Who we are looking for?**

We require a person who has a clear motivation for working with young people with complex needs.
- Work well within a team
- Have experience in a similar setting
- Experience of working with children and young people who may have one or more of the following : Aspergers Syndrome, ADHD, Complex Needs ,Challenging behaviours, Dyslexia and Dyspraxia.
- Be able to organise and plan a workload
- Communicate effectively and be prepared to work with varying types of difficulties
- A driving licence is essential due to the remote location of the site.
Key Responsibilities
- Safeguard all young people in the estate and support them with their individual needs.
- Support and develop the mental and physical health and wellbeing of individuals within the school
- Provide invaluable support to the young people and assist with the learning needs of the students.
- Liaise with parents, teachers and other support workers with the best interests of the young people in mind.
- Enable and support individuals to engage with the education system positively
