- The role is a home-based community role, where you visit Young People in the community (South Hampshire area).
- 22.5 hours per week
- £15,000 per annum for 22.5 hours per week - (£25,000 FTE)

Each year we work with over 1,300 young people aged 11-25 and our employees play a pivotal role in empowering young people and preventing homelessness.

**WHAT WOULD A STEP BY YOUTH SUPPORT WORKER/WELLBEING WORKER BE DOING?**

As a Youth Support Worker or Wellbeing Worker, you will work with young people in the community to help develop their skills and support them to access employment and/or educational facilities, helping them achieve and maintain independence. You could be supporting them with their Mental Health, Housing, Sexual Health, Education or Employment.

**WHAT IS STEP BY STEP LOOKING FOR?**
- Step by Step is interested in employing people with the right skills and attitude, so previous experience is not necessarily needed, but we would love to hear from you if you’ve worked or volunteered as a Social Worker, Support Worker, Youth Worker, Care Support Worker, Foster Support Worker, or Community Support Worker.
- You must have a full driving licence, appropriate motor business insurance, tax, and MOT as driving around your community area may be needed. There is a petrol allowance.
- Successful applicants are required to undergo DBS checks and must provide two references.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £15,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 22.5 per week
