Youth Key worker Bank job position/support/carer

This position is for a bank worker.

This contract is a flexi, you choose as and when you work based on rota availability.

Immediate start available for suitable applicants, time and half rate over xmas and new year period, including bank holidays.

Paid 1:1 induction and training provided.

Bank staff member needed for youth supported living in Portsmouth, who is caring and patient. (no personal care)

Experience is a must as this can involve challenging behaviours at times, rare occasions but always a possibility. it is lone working with early shifts, late shifts, long days and sleep in shifts, with flexibility.

This role is supporting youths aged 16-21, they may be under the care act or as care leavers, some service users may present with challenging behaviours and trauma. The job role is to prompt and promote independent living skills and support to enhance life skills and quality. No personal care involved but does include cooking support, cleaning, shopping, finance skills ect..to enhance life skills to enable to young person to transition and live independently.

£10.00ph and £45 per sleep in shift.

It is an advantage if you have a current DBS and great if it is online but if you don't then we can initially fund your DBS and then we will claim back from your first wage packet.

X2 references of 5years back ground required,
