Nigel Wright are delighted to be recruiting a Payroll / HR professional for our client based in Teesside.
This is an exciting and **NEWLY CREATED ROLE** to connect the Payroll and HR departments within an organisation who constantly strive to improve their efficiencies andstreamline processes to support all teams members in their roles.
The clients is offering the option of 1 day working from home per week should you wish to do so.**
The teams have a fantastic dynamic already which will be very recognisable should you engage in the interview process with this client
**Your duties and responsibilities will include**:
- Assisting the Payroll manager with the monthly payroll, ensuring information is correct
- Error checking incoming information
- On boarding of new starters into HR and Payroll system
- Allocation of tax codes and NI (National Insurance) codes
- Support the Payroll Manager in all aspects of the payroll processing and be able to deputise in his absence
- Supporting HR on administration
- Other duties needed to support the business
- Able to work from the clients location with an option to work from home 1 day per week.
- Solid payroll background and able to demonstrate
- Able to work in a large volume and fast paced environment
- Strong communication skills are essential in this role, you will be liaising with all levels of personnel with reference to their pay. Solving errors in a timely manner obviously being a key element for any employee queries.
- Good systems skills, including Strong Excel functionality including pivots & lookups.
