Here at QAHE, we’re looking for a fabulous
- **Library Assistant** to join our amazing team, who’ll ensure our students and staff enjoy our library environment.You’ll make it conducive to their learning and working; helping with enquiries and generally pointing out the best ways to do things. And, of course, getting hands-on to help. This role is to cover the Monday to Thursday late shifts plus the Saturday day shift.**Key Responsibilities**:
The main aspects of this exciting role are:
- Opening and closing routines
- Assisting with all aspects of student administration (incl. student letter requests, student record management)
- Assisting with stock circulation, and shelving/tidying.
- Providing support to staff and students in using a VLE and other university systems

**This role would be a great fit if you’ve a background in customer-service (so a definite people-person) and if you’ve worked in a library before, then so much the better But you must, must, must have a genuine passion for this role**- Ability to work independently but not afraid to ask for help if needed
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Well-organised and methodical, able to work accurately with speed
- Flexible and adaptable to change
- Patient
- Passionate about this role
