We are looking for a committed Training Officer to join the Training Team in Hartree Centre, which is part of Professional Services.

**About the Role**
You will have the opportunity to make an impact, collaborating with Hartree staff, collaborators and customers on our digital transformation learning programs.

The role will involve liaising with Hartree Centre learning leads and technical staff, as well as our associate partners to scope and implement training activities under a number of projects with target audience from industry or academia, with technical and non-technical backgrounds.

The role requires an understanding and awareness of the training needs in the industry sectors where Hartree Centre operates. You will work with Hartree Centre’s Training Manager and Training Assurance Lead to maintain and operate relevant processes relating to training materials and course development and implement our assurance standards.

**Duties Include**:

- Conducting training needs analysis surveys and research.
- Liaising with managers and interviewing employees to assess training and development needs.
- Responding to queries about training opportunities from our customers
- Managing training activities on projects within budget and to deadlines
- Facilitating workshops
- Evaluate successful completion of training by a cohort and troubleshoot any delivery problems.
- Working with learning management systems to upload online learning materials,
- Keeping up to date with trends in research into learning and learning technology.
