We are looking for an experienced Finance Administrator to join our expanding team to assist with all the day-to-day aspects of running the Accounts functions.

A good knowledge of accounts, purchase ledger, sales ledger and use of Sage Accounts is required, with the flexibility to provide additional administrative support.

**Key Tasks include**:
Working closely with the Office Manager and Financial Director to ensure smooth operation of all finance matters.

Daily processing of Sales Ledger entries including BACS, cheques

Raising and processing Sales invoices.

Processing of expense claims.

Reconciling customer accounts.

Following credit control procedures to ensure prompt settlement of customer accounts.

Reconciling the company bank account.

Raising Purchase Orders.

Process supplier invoices and dealing with supplier queries.

Ad hoc support producing analytical reports.

Provide administrative support such as scanning, filing, data entry, answering phones.

Ensure the confidentiality and security of all financial files is always maintained.

**Essential Requirements**:
Minimum of 2 years’ experience of working in a similar role.

Working knowledge of Sage

AAT Qualified (or equivalent). Although training could be offered to the right person.

knowledge of Microsoft Office/Word/Excel

Quick learner, outgoing and independent

Able to manage high volume workload.

Qualified or Studying towards a recognised accounting qualification

Adaptable to changing business needs.

Ability to plan, organise and manage own workload to ensure contribution to the company’s monthly financial reporting process is achieved in a timely and accurate manner.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Excellent time management and organisation skills.

Confident and resourceful.

Self-motivated and enthusiastic.

Flexible attitude to cover other tasks.

High level of computer literacy, must have sound knowledge of Microsoft Office and Sage.

Willingness to learn.

GDPR UK compliant in processing of data.

Competent in creation and analysis of data reports.

Must possess excellent communication skills both written and spoken.

A trustworthy professional who shows respect to others in all that they do.

Eager to learn new skills and collaborate with others.

Positive attitude.

Smart and friendly.
