Admin Assistant

Due to increased business demand the Green Group require an Administration Assistant to join our team at our North Glasgow site.
Current shift pattern Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 10am to 5pm and Saturday 10am to 3pm with additional hours when required. It would be preferable that you can be flexible in regard to availability out with core working days to help meet customer demands.
As an Admin Assistant you are responsible for ensuring that the office is organised and that daily tasks are completed efficiently. Responsibilities will include demonstrating a positive attitude, excellent time keeping, ability to work as part of a team and on your own initiative and work within a fast-paced environment.
Duties not limited to but including:
- Responding to questions and requests for information
- Welcoming visitors to the building
- Organising filing systems and updating office databases
- Processing invoicing and inputting expenses
- Arranging travel plans and hotel stays for staff members
- Ordering office and Operations equipment when required
- Working with our in-house computer system to complete tasks
- Creating daily picking lists and issuing delivery notes
- Contacting suppliers for orders
- Any other adhoc tasks that are required
Essential:
- Ability to receive written and oral instruction
- Excellent literacy, numeracy and administrative skills
- Ability to analyse information and solve general queries
- Good keyboard skills
- Excellent telephone manner
- Timekeeping
- Excellent computer skills and able to understand word, excel etc
- Organised
