**ABOUT THE ROLE**

Reporting to the Director of Style, as Style Coordinator you will play a key role in coordinating daily operations throughout the hotel, including guest rooms, public spaces and back of house areas.

Joining the team means you will be instrumental to the success of the hotel’s opening and beyond. We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, a people-person and passionate

As Style Coordinator, key aspects of your role will include:

- Communicate and coordinate between Style, Welcome Office (Front Office) and Engineering to ensure any guest or maintenance issues are logged and resolved
- Be an expert in hotel systems to plan, maintain, and ensure a smooth operation for guests checking in and staying long term
- Plan, prioritize, and support with hotel room/wide projects
- Prioritise the cleaning of guest rooms to ensure operational efficiency
- Be a role model within the department, assisting the team to perform their role when required
- Take ownership of guest issues and see them through to resolution
- Train Room Attendants, Public Area and Porters to become experts in their role
- Inspect guest rooms after cleaning to ensure quality standards are met (if required)
- Supervise the daily operation of the Style (Housekeeping) department
- Ensure compliance with all Health and Safety protocols
- Develop teamwork throughout your team as it grows
- Be a W brand ambassador, ensuring the brand’s voice is present in your interactions with guests and talent

- Previous experience working in five star, luxury/lifestyle hotels

W Edinburgh will bring bold architecture and a vibrant lifestyle offering to the Scottish capital. Behind a façade featuring a winding steel ribbon - reflecting the city’s festival spirit - this 12-storey structure will be the centerpiece of Nuveen Real Estate’s Edinburgh St James Quarter, incorporating retail, leisure and entertainment facilities along with residential apartments.
