**About the role**:
Hammersmith & Fulham Council are at an exciting phase of developing our Family Hubs and Start for Life offer. Are you experienced in family support and enhancing services for Children and Families?

In this varied role, you will support families, children and young people to access services through our Family Hubs, supporting staff who work with families as well as developing our services for children and families.

You will work as part of a team to understand the needs of families and to ensure access to services that address these needs and to develop effective relationships with key partners to ensure families receive the best services within our Family Hubs network.

You will need a sound knowledge of Children's Centres & Family Hubs services and the supporting partner services for families, children and young people. This is a key role linking with partners both internally and externally to ensure we meet the wide range of needs of all our families.

This post will be key in supporting those families from our most seldom heard communities/families in increased access to support and community engagement. The role will also support the developments identified from the Early Help System Guide. The role will oversee and supervise the work and development of the Family Champions. This established group of volunteers promote the engagement of our diverse range of communities within the services in our Family Hub network.

This role will require proven experience in supporting families, volunteers and/or communities.
