Hollywater School is a school for pupils aged 4 - 19 with complex learning needs. We aim to provide pupils with the necessary skills they need to be able to communicate with others in the community and be as independent as possible in their adult life.

We are looking for an outgoing, friendly and conscientious person to take over our Admin Officer role.

The role will include, but is not limited to:
**Resources**:

- Procure all general consumables for the school.
- Purchasing/choosing suppliers (recommend on suppliers and approves best practice/best value on products and services and make recommendations to internal stakeholders)

**Finance**:

- Responsibility for Petty Cash process (long term)
- Maintain a financial overview of general school wide fundraising activities
- Make financial recommendations on best value supply of resources and services

**Website**:

- Support website administration and organisation.

**Training**:

- Responsible for booking HCC & external training courses as identified by SLT.
- Research training courses as required.
- Keep records of all training undertaken for all staff.
- Manage and maintain bring forward training diary.

**Marketing / Fundraising**:

- Coordinate fundraising or charitable activities
- Support development of school brand materials

**Policies**:
Maintain spreadsheet of school policies for SLT / Governors reference

Co-ordinate process of keeping school policies up-to-date

Create and maintain a central electronic folder for final version policies for stakeholder access

Responsible for ensuring all current policies are published on the school website

**General**:
Advise and support office colleagues where relevant

Familiar with the school’s office, equipment, telephone and computer systems

Experience of HCC Financial Management systems

Familiar and understanding of financial accounting processes operated by the school

Ability to multi task

Ability to prioritise multiple tasks/projects

We are seeking a professional individual who:

- Has an eye for detail and accuracy
- Is experienced in using general office systems, Microsoft Word and Excel
- Is experienced in using school computer systems SAP/IBC and Tucasi (training can be provided for the right applicant)
- Demonstrates a clear understanding of Safeguarding
- Is a strong team player
- Is able to work on their own initiative and is a good communicator
- Minimum qualifications of GCSE in Maths and English at grade C or above.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 30 per week

**Salary**: £15,903.00 per year
