Serco have an exciting opportunity for a Business Administrator to join the SDW Contract at SGS Oakhanger in Bordon on a part time basis.
As a Business Administrator, you will provide administration and business support to the contract and be a point of contact for the Customer on the Oakhanger site. You will support the Senior Business Administrator and the FM Finance & Compliance Manager, as a member of the Administration team.
**Main Accountabilities**:
Organise, attend, and minute various monthly and ad hoc meetings
Assist with the purchasing of consumables for the contract
Assist with Serco SDW recruitment and attend interviews when required
Co-ordinate and order the Serco SDW uniform and IT requirements
Assist with the management of all documents within the Space Hub, for control and review
Assist with the induction programmes for new starters and with processes for leavers
Co-ordinate and book training courses for Serco SDW employees
Manage the Serco vehicles used on the contract, ensuring all appropriate paperwork is issued
Book hire cars for Serco SDW employees as required
Log Agility Help Desk requests for the Oakhanger site
Responsible for the efficient operation of the Meeting Room booking system
Take on the roles of Serco SDW GDPR and Operational Excellence champion
Provide cover, where required, for team members during absence and holiday
Safe, effective, and economic operation of the Business Administration area Compliance with all Serco Management System policies and procedures
Develop and maintain internal and Serco Shared Services stakeholder relationships
Comply with applicable QHSE Fire, Human Resources and Security policies Uphold the values and behaviours of Serco and abide by the Governing Principles Promote Business Continuity and continuous improvement in your area
Conduct any other task as requested by the Senior Business Administrator and FM Finance & Compliance Manage
**What you’ll need to do the role**:
Self-motivated and able to work unsupervised on Admin tasks set
Experience of working in a customer focused environment
Good written skills
Able to take accurate and relevant meeting notes and produce timely and accurate minutes
High level of competency in MS Office skills
Good interpersonal skills
Good organisational skills
Full driving licence
Must be able to achieve an SC Clearance
Knowledge of GDPR and Operational Excellence desirable but not essential
