Serco Defence delivers a wide range of support to the prestigious Skynet contract providing secure satellite communication services to the UK Government and Armed Forces.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an FM Admin Assistant to join our team at SGS Oakhanger. This role will provide administration and clerical work to the Skynet Facilities Management Team which will be delivered to an agreed time and schedule. The FM Admin Assistant will undertake initial investigations into data accuracy, collecting, collating, and producing reports and summaries for management review.

**Main responsibilities of the role include**:

- Efficient operation of the Meeting Room Booking system, including booking of catering requirements, at Oakhanger & assist with other Skynet sites.
- Manage Agility Help Desk for Oakhanger and other Skynet sites.
- Responsible for the supplies of hospitality, meeting rooms, office refreshments and housekeeping in respect of customer services and staff requirements.
- Responsible for the Oakhanger carpool bookings, ensuring all appropriate paperwork is issued and liaison with the Logistics team to ensure cars are serviceable.
- Management of stationery and printer cartridge stocks.
- Provides administration support locally and to the FM Organisation as a whole.
- Undertakes all day to day purchasing for the Oakhanger FM department and updates and maintains the appropriate budget spreadsheets.
- Supports the FM Cost Controller & Project Coordinator on contract deliverables.

What you’ll need to do the role:*
- Self-motivated and able to work unsupervised on admin tasks.
- A professional and positive approach particularly when dealing with customers.
- Experience of working in a customer focused environment.
- Experience of working in an administration / reception role.
- Good level of education including English and Maths.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- PC Literate with a high level of competency in MS Office skills, particularly Excel.
- Good organisational skills.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Must be able to achieve SC Security Clearance prior to appointment, Serco will arrange this on your behalf.
