**Who are we looking for?**
We are looking for somebody to join our busy Retail Operations, Customer Services team to educate and help employees develop their skills and successfully address clients’ needs.

We want an experienced trainer with an enthusiasm for learning and getting the best out of people; an individual who demonstrates a positive ‘can do’ manner, has fun and gains energy from working with and motivating others.

**Skills and experience.**
- A highly effective communicator with the ability to influence different audiences using suitable channels for achieving clear outcomes
- Excellent presentation and public speaking skills
- Strong time management and organisation skills
- The initiative to effectively collaborate across the organisation and externally
- Works hard for the success of others and constantly remains ‘customer focussed’
- A team player who can confidently interact with others but who is also able to work independently
- Open mindedness and the willingness to explore new perspectives
- Active listening and the ability to hear and interpret messages correctly
- A problem solver who is open to innovation and will challenge the status quo to get the best result
- A decision maker who is confident in their ability to assess situations and get the best possible outcome
- Prior experience as a trainer or a similar position
- Knowledge of various teaching methods and approaches
- Familiarity with interactive learning activities
- Proficient in MS Office and PowerPoint

**A bit more about what will you be doing.**
- Liaise with managers to determine training needs and schedule training sessions
- Evaluate and monitor employee performance to gauge and assess skills gaps
- Design and deliver effective training programs to address skills gaps across the Customer Services operation
- Prepare and present learning materials for programs
- Develop and deliver onboarding programs for new employees
- Conduct surveys to gauge the effectiveness of training programs
- Research new teaching methods
