We are looking to expand the horizons of our company and find dedicated individuals who may not have the relevant classroom experiences, to join our team in working with SEN children. Our aim is to find those with the desire to help and transfer your skills over to a different career path.

Care work is a complex yet rewarding job that opens doors to different opportunities; SEN TA work is one of these. Teaching Assistants provide generalized support to the teacher and an SEN specific TA will need to combine a diverse mix of care and support into these young children’s education. You will need to branch out your knowledge and skills, adapting them to a school setting to create a safe and involving atmosphere for all children to work in.

At Textbook Teachers, we strive to achieve the best customer satisfaction and this comes from our innate work ethic to cater to your needs. With us, you will be in control of your work/personal life as we can facilitate work to fit in and around your schedule. We work with a variety of schools across the county in supplying SEN Teaching Assistants to them, on a day to day or long-term basis.

Our company prides itself on our ability to find work that suits your needs, whether you can work five days a week or one, we will have schools that vale your experiences and knowledge. Having set times from 8:30 till 3:30, Monday to Friday, means you are able to enjoy your evenings and weekends work free We help facilitate work that gives you control over your personal/work life balance, something not possible with most positions.
- Have a proven track record in working in a care environment - Have experience with supporting SEN adults/children and understand the need to adapt teaching styles to suit their needs
- Provide one-on-one support to individuals with SEN
- Have relevant qualifications or certificates
- Have strong communication and interaction skills to help build relationships with students and staff
- Reliably commute to surrounding areas
- Understand and commitment to Safeguarding Procedures

**Enhanced DBS checks alongside all mandatory safeguarding checks will be carried out by Textbook Teachers prior to work.**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: £85.00-£100.00 per day
