PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
- The position will be a support role to the Upstream Directorate reporting to the Technical Manager, but also supporting the Production Manager.
- The applicant will have an appreciation of project or operational management aspects within the oil and gas industry and experience of working with technical or engineering teams.
- Consistently look for opportunities to streamline processes and use tools/systems to reduce manual intervention across all aspects of the Team’s work.
- Support team members with the preparation of documentation such as Technical Reports, Scopes of Work and Requests for Quotation.
- Coordinate input data for Upstream reporting tasks.
- Prepare material and coordinate inputs for key stakeholder engagement presentations.
- Team focal point with Document Control to ensure alignment with company processes and systems.
- Coordinate team meetings including room booking, engaging with outside venues, confirming attendance and logistics.
- Record minutes of meeting and actions when required.
- Act as focal point for Maximo queries within the Technical Team such as raising Requisitions / Purchase Orders.
- Assist with retrieval and collation of technical documentation for reviews, audits etc.
- Assist with maintaining Company’s systems including MoEC (Management of Engineering Change), Technical Queries and Action Trackers.
- Organise team personnel travel requirements as required.

Experience
- A good appreciation of production operations and logístical issues, together with a thorough understanding of cost and schedule delivery and the ability to assemble and adhere to budgets.
- Knowledge and use of Maximo.
- Proficient user of Microsoft Office modules including Teams, SharePoint, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience designing / updating reports with PowerBI is preferred.
