Job Description:
Position: Material Processing Group Logistics Coordinator

Location: Omagh, Northern Ireland

Reporting to: Category Director

As part of the Global Logistics team, the Material Processing Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for the providing logistics support for the MP segment within Terex.

Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Main escalation point to support operations
- Support the Carrier Governance Program for MP
- Support Safety Improvement Initiatives
- Ensure Carriers are performing to the expected KPI’s and service level agreements
- Provide logistics support for any MP specific projects
- Ensure compliance to the logistics routing guides
- Support any Premium Freight or spot quote requests
- Provide Customer freight rates
- Identify & deliver operational cost reduction and cost avoidance initiatives
- Develop and support logistic models for new markets and business segments
- Implement new processes and procedures in line with changes in industry legislation
- Communicate all rate updates as applicable
- Support the Logistics Managers with implementation on Continuous Improvement initiatives
- Manage Carrier Invoice requirements to the expected KPI’s
- Oversee and provide support for the Freight Bill and Audit/Invoicing requirements for the MP segment
- Manage the MP transport claims process

The Person
- You should have a considerable track record of Freight & Logistics expertise in a global manufacturing organisation.
- Degree educated or equivalent desirable although not essential, you will be able to demonstrate effective leadership, in both strategic and tactical decision making.
- Experience of all modes of transport with particular emphasis on Heavy Haulage and Ro-Ro shipping.
- Demonstrate practical experience in price negotiations
- Ability to constructively interact with others across different geographies and time zones.
- Can demonstrate confidence in coordinating meetings with all levels of management (internal /external )
- A medium level of travel (approx 20%) is envisaged.
