About Us: Balloo Hire Centres offers a wide range of tools, equipment, and facilities for both businesses and DIY enthusiasts across Northern Ireland. As part of The Briggs Equipment Group, we combine local service with strong corporate support.

We are currently seeking a dedicated and proactive Workshop Administrator to join our team at our Omagh depot. If you don't perfectly match all the qualifications listed below, don't let that hold you back from applying.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate daily administrative tasks at the workshop, such as scheduling equipment maintenance and repairs.
  • Maintain accurate records of all workshop equipment, including maintenance history, status, and whereabouts.
  • Ensure all equipment certifications are kept up to date.
  • Manage inventory of spare parts and supplies required for maintenance.
  • Communicate with suppliers to order necessary parts and equipment.
  • Handle customer inquiries, quote requests, and invoices related to equipment issues.
  • Assist in preparing equipment for rental and complete necessary transportation paperwork.

Requirements for Success:

  • Prior experience in an administrative role or in a busy workshop setting
  • Strong IT skills and effective communication abilities
  • Ability to multitask and work independently
  • Collaborative team player mindset
