**Role Responsibilities**:
As a Senior Administrative Officer for Hampshire's Children's Services, your duties will include;
- Acting as Personal Assistant to the District Service Manager
- Managing a team of administrators
- Organising and developing support services and resources to meet business needs
- Using various resources to develop programmes of work and forward plans
- Monitoring the budget
- Representing the department in management groups to establish operating frameworks of processes and standards to increase added value of the administration function overall
- Providing information and advice to managers throughout the organisation
- Reviewing and responding to complex enquiries and escalating to senior staff where appropriate
- Liaising with other departments to review the implementation of corporate policies and procedures, and implementing agreed local improvements within the team.
**Essential Qualifications, Skills and Experience**:
- Previous administrative experience,
- Effective interpersonal skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work flexibly to meet the requirements of the team
- Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
**Desirable Qualifications, Skills and Experience**:
- Business administration qualification
