**The role**

We are looking for an Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS) Administrator to expand the existing team’s capability.

Working as part of our global Technical Software Services (TSS) team, you will assist with the day-to-day running and maintenance of EDMS solutions such as Bentley’s ProjectWise estate or Autodesk’s Construction Cloud platform in order to provide agile solutions combining processes, practices, and tools whilst supporting engineering projects and teams.

This will involve working closely with project teams to understand their requirements, in order to help the team design and implement solutions that support project delivery, automating and streamlining our operations and processes.

The global TSS team designs, delivers, operates, and supports the advanced engineering software and platform used by Arup’s engineers to deliver world-class outcomes to our clients.

The role reports to the Technical Software Solutions Lead for the UK
- You have a minimum 1-2 years of experience of using EDMS systems on large multidisciplinary projects within either the Buildings or Infrastructure sectors
- You have come from a CAD engineering background
- You have strong interpersonal and communication skills, and enjoy working with diverse stakeholders

**Responsibilities of the role include**
- Supporting the design, implementation, operation of associated TSS services within the UKIMEA and Europe regions to meet the needs of the business
- Liaise with Project Managers, BIM Managers, and other project personnel to understand project requirements in order to help develop appropriate technical solutions
- Provide Level 3 support by managing support requests via ServiceNow for associated services, escalating to vendor support when required
- Collaborate, coordinate, and provide support services to technical software service teams in other regions providing support, collaborating and knowledge sharing
- Keep up to date with software products, trends, and supplier changes
- Understand vendors’ roadmaps, upcoming releases, new functionalities, and capabilities

**Requirements and skills**

**Essential skills and knowledge**:

- Some experience of working within large multidisciplinary projects and/or infrastructure clients
- Understanding of technical design software solutions including Autodesk suites, Bentley suites, Trimble or GIS

**Required behaviours**:

- Analytical and problem-solving skills and an openness in sharing your knowledge and thinking with others
- Ability to communicate with people, through effective written and verbal communication skills ensuring a high level of customer experience throughout
- Team working skills with ability to build trusted relationships with people and groups with diverse backgrounds

**Education**
- Recognised qualification in a numerate, computer science or engineering discipline is desirable not essential
