Overall Purpose of Role
The Events and Hospitality Coordinator will work closely with the Head of Parish Life to manage and oversee the administration of Sunday services hospitality teams including volunteer welcome, host teams, and newcomer welcome on Sundays.
The role holder will be responsible for assisting the administration of wide-scale Church courses and events such as Alpha, Discipleship courses, Church weekend gathering, and special services such as baptisms, and weddings, providing exceptional hospitality while delivering warm front-facing interactions with newcomers, congregation members, and the public visiting Saint Paul’s Hammersmith.
Job Details
Permanent contract, 35 hrs per week, typically outlined below, but with the ability to work flexibly based on church courses and termly events such as occasional evenings or weekends on key dates such as newcomers’ dinner, alpha, etc.
Monday - Thursday, 9.30am - 5.30pm* including a one-hour unpaid lunch break.
Sundays - Flex hours scheduling with the Head of Parish Life
Annual salary of £24k - £26k depending on experience 25 days annual leave per year plus bank holidays
This role requires the incumbent to be DBS checked (Disclosure and Barring Service Certificate) as a condition of employment.
This role requires the proof of right to work in the UK according to UK Legislation
