Senior Membership Officer

**Coeliac UK** currently has an exciting opportunity for a **Senior Membership Officer**,** **to** **join our team in High Wycombe, with the possibility to regularly work from home by prior agreement with your line manager. You will join us on a **full time**,** fixed term, maternity cover basis **for 12 months. In return you will receive a competitive salary of **£29,500 per annum based on experience.**
Coeliac UK represents over 60,000 members providing information and support to those affected by coeliac disease or following a gluten free diet. We also campaign on behalf of all those living with coeliac disease and undertake research into the causes of the disease.
**About the Senior Membership Officer role**:
The Membership team ensures that our members receive services in line with Coeliac UK’s strategy, including direct information and support via a helpline, and administration of the membership scheme. This role is responsible for the operational delivery of our membership recruitment and retention strategy.
**Key responsibilities of the Senior Membership Officer**:
- Deliver direct support and information to members, prospective members and other stakeholders across our communication channels, including our Helpline
- Work closely with Director of Membership, Services & Volunteering to deliver the charity’s membership recruitment, retention and reactivation activities
- Support and implement plans for the charity’s membership scheme considering fees, personalisation, cost savings and efficiencies to deliver a cost effective scheme for members, generating sufficient income for the charity
- Work with all teams across the charity to maximise membership engagement and improve the member experience, adding value and creating high levels of satisfaction
- Develop and generate reports to monitor and analyse behaviour across our recruitment and retention activities and marketing campaigns
- Coordinate day to day activities in the membership journey from prospective membership enquiries to joining, to new member communications through to renewal
- Work with the team to undertake market research, for example, membership benefits analysis and membership satisfaction
- Collaborate with the Marketing Manager to create and develop membership marketing and administration collateral across our print and digital platforms
- Coordinate Coeliac UK’s presence at external events
**Knowledge, skills and experience we arre looking for in our Senior Membership Officer**:
- Experience of delivering excellent service
- Excellent communication skills - verbal and written
- Experience of the membership sector is preferable
- At least five GCSEs at grade C or above, including Maths and English
- Numerate with necessary skills to produce, monitor and interpret complex data
- Experience of creating engaging content across a variety of platforms
- Proficient in using CRM and CMS systems
- Able to manage multiple projects on time and to budget
- Ability to manage workload on own initiative within a team environment
