Luton Airport, United Kingdom easyJet Full time

We are recruiting for a Technical Delivery Lead to join our Technology team at easyJet holidays. This role forms part of the Delivery capability within our Technology team, working closely with our digital product teams and 3rd party suppliers as part of our Digital Factory, essentially being the interface between business and technology.

Reporting into our Head of Product Delivery, you’ll be responsible for managing the technical delivery of our key strategic initiative deliveries. You’ll work closely with Product Owners within the easyJet Holidays functions to provide technical input, design and guidance on delivery initiatives that will support our business strategy. You’ll help to develop plans to support our technology roadmap and support delivery by helping in estimation and providing input into resourcing requirements, and ensure that our technical delivery function operates as efficiently as possible.

You’ll create strong relationships with our Architecture team to ensure effective collaboration and support when developing and evolving solutions through discovery and delivery phases, and support the implementation of our agile development methodology with our internal teams and 3rd parties, ensuring that key ceremonies are performed and that there is continuous improvement of our processes and procedures.

In this role you’ll be accountable for the successful development of the technical solution, ensuring milestones are met, and key quality gates are achieved within the planned budget and timeframe, and you’ll support the Business / Portfolio Programme team to manage changes to scope, timelines and costs.

Working with the portfolio team, you will facilitate quarterly planning events, and you’ll work with product owners to visualise robust quarterly roadmaps that are created with development teams. You’ll be responsible for reporting status of development activities to relevant steering groups, manage the solution delivery teams (both third party and in-house) to develop and test the software solutions, manage risks and issues that could affect the development of the solution, and you’ll encourage ongoing collaboration between all stakeholders to iterate towards the most effective solutions using events such as showcases.

**What you’ll bring to the team**:
First and foremost, you’ll need to have experience in a similar role where you have been responsible for managing the delivery of digital solutions. You’ll have managed both on-site and offshore 3rd party technology suppliers to deliver an outcome, and experience of having responsibility of managing delivery budgets, using data to manage expectations and ensure transparency with investments and value creation.

In addition you’ll possess strong stakeholder management skills, demonstrating business engagement up to senior management levels, be proactive and highly organised, with strong time management and planning skills, and most importantly have the ability to translate and communicate complex technology solutions to product owners and key stakeholders in a simple (non-technical) manner.

**What’s in it for you**:
In addition to you competitive base salary, we offer an all-inclusive benefits package which includes our company-wide bonus scheme and a 7% pension contribution. We offer a variety of share options and life assurance, and we have an impressive range of flexible benefits that you can tailor to your needs.

You'll have access to heavily discounted flights for yourself and your loved ones, as well as free easyJet Plus membership and annual holiday vouchers.

At easyJet holidays, we're committed to supporting our team with development opportunities and a welcoming atmosphere. We create unforgettable experiences for our customers, we strive to do the same for our people. The possibilities are endless with us, where would you like to go?
The role is full-time and based at our easyJet holidays HQ near Luton Airport. We support hybrid working and we spend three days per week in the office.
