The post holder will provide a comprehensive, quality, confidential administration service to the Divisions and their team in support of the Service Manager. A key requirement of the post is to proactively manage clinic bookings and appointments, including making recommendations and implementing any authorised changes to clinic templates to ensure best use of capacity and compliance with national targets. The Clinic/Data Coordinator will be expected to organise their workload and co-ordinate their activities in conjunction with, and supervised by, the Service Manager to ensure that an efficient service is provided. It is essential that the post holder is able to exercise initiative suitable to the role, and is fully supportive to other colleagues in the administrative team.SERVICE DELIVERY1.

Provide a comprehensive administration service, including management of new referrals and demographics, registration of patients, analysis and housekeeping of appointment systems to maximise capacity, liasing with Divisions, etc. ensuring that all information and documentation isproduced to expected standards of performance, and according to agreed timescales.2. Maintain constructive relationships with others, within and across Divisions and externally in order to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of services to patients.3. Support the Division to analyse, and act on information to proactively manage and maintain relevant NHS targets, including profiling activity to ensure target requirements are met.
