**About The Role**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and maintain production schedules to meet demand forecasts and customer orders.
- Coordinate with production teams to ensure timely execution of schedules and resolve any scheduling conflicts.
- Analyse production data and trends to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.
- Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams to optimize inventory levels and minimize stock outs.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to production efficiency, inventory accuracy, and on-time delivery.
- Implement and maintain planning tools and systems to support efficient operations.
- Provide leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

**About You**:
**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Proven experience in production planning and scheduling within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the food industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in planning software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is desirable.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
