Futures Manufacturing is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance and Estates Coordinator to proactively maintain high standards of maintenance and Health & Safety throughout our manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adopt a hands-on, practical, and flexible approach to property and facilities management, ensuring all appliances, fixtures, and fittings are safe and compliant with Health & Safety regulations.
  • Take ownership of maintenance team management, including rotas, holiday requests, appraisals, disciplinary actions, training, and development.
  • Collaborate with the team to complete tasks, demonstrate teamwork, and flexibility in responding to emergency calls for maintenance from all departments.
  • Manage contractors and raise purchase orders as required, ensuring timely completion of priority maintenance jobs.
  • Attend training sessions and senior management meetings, sharing relevant information with the team.

Requirements:

  • Significant experience in proactive problem-solving and solution-focused approach.
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a larger team.
  • Strong financial acumen, with the ability to control costs and project manage with budgets to tight deadlines.
