Stapleford View Care Home have an exciting opportunity for the role of deputy manager in a brand new purpose built 78 bedroom luxury care home providing care and support to the elderly that require residential care and those living with Dementia.

**Due to open in April 2024**, Stapleford View are now recruiting a deputy manager to work closely with the home manager to embed high standards of care in line with CQC requirements, fundamental standards and implementation of the homes policies and procedures right from the commissioning stages.

Working hours Monday-Friday 9am-5pm although times may vary and occasional weekends may be required.

Experience of leadership as a manager or team leader within a care setting is desirable.

**Reporting to the Home Manager, the main responsibiliies for this role include although not restricted to**:

- Supervise and manage a care team, providing training to the team.
- Oversee the administration of medications and ensure proper documentation
- Develop and implement care plans for residents
- Provide leadership and guidance to staff members
- Ensure compliance with all residential home regulations and policies
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive senior care
- Undertaking audits around the home
- Supporting the home manager in marketing the home

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a leadership role in a care home or nursing home setting
- Strong knowledge of medication administration and dementia care practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to create and implement care plans tailored to individual resident needs
- Strong organisational and time management skills

Salary to be discussed during interview.

Applicants must have achieved health and social care diploma level 3 and or 5.

Enhanced DBS check required.
