We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Care Home Deputy Manager to join our team at a premier residential care home. As a Deputy Manager, you will play a crucial role in the daily operations and management of our care home, supporting the Home Manager in ensuring high standards of care are maintained and that the home complies with all relevant regulations and quality standards.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Assist the Home Manager in the overall management of the care home, ensuring that all aspects of care are delivered to the highest standards.
* Lead, supervise, and support the care team, promoting best practices in all aspects of care and acting as a role model and mentor for staff.
* Oversee the assessment and development of individualized care plans for residents, ensuring that they receive person-centered care that respects their choices and preferences.
* Ensure the home complies with all statutory and regulatory requirements, including CQC standards, and implement and monitor quality assurance processes to maintain high standards of care.
* Support the recruitment, training, and development of care staff, conducting regular performance appraisals and providing constructive feedback.
* Foster positive relationships with residents, their families, and external healthcare professionals, addressing any concerns or complaints promptly and effectively.
**Requirements:**
* NVQ Level 4 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) required.
* Minimum of 3 years' experience in a supervisory role within a residential care setting.
* Strong knowledge of CQC standards and regulatory requirements.
* Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to providing high-quality care for the elderly.
