**Employment Description & List of Key Tasks**

**PERSONAL LINES GENERAL INSURANCE ACCOUNT HANDLER**

You must be self-motivated and be able to work as part of a team. Working within the General Insurance unit being responsible for the:

- New business quotes,
- Renewal and required negotiations
- Day to day administration of

The Personal Lines (Motor and Home) account, plus any associated cross selling.

You will not be encouraged to breach any restrictive covenants reasonably imposed by a previous employer.

**_Relevant Skills and Knowledge required._**
- Detailed knowledge of Motor and Home Insurance including High Net Worth and associated policies.
- Use of EDI quote systems for new and renewal quotes and mid-term adjustments
- Negotiate with insurers
- Issuing invoices /credit notes
- Able to use Microsoft Word and Excel systems
- Use of Premium Instalment facilities

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 21 per week

**Salary**: £17,000.00 per year
